What we believe
We Believe:
- That there is but One God who is personal and caring and who in Holy love
creates, sustains, and orders all.
- That Jesus is the Lord of the Church and of all life and that the Gospel is the "Good
News" that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, no longer counting
peoples sins against them. And that as recipients of this blessing of reconciliation
with God, we are to tell others this "Good News."
- That the Holy Spirit is at work in the hearts and minds of believers guiding each one
to live as the image of Christ.
- In the New Testament as our rule of faith and practice. We believe in the truth
affirmed in major Christian creeds, but hold Christ as our final authority as He is
revealed in the New Testament.
- That the church’s purpose is to make Christ, and His way of salvation known as
widely as possible throughout the world, beginning in our own community.
- That Jesus came to bring an abundant life both now and forever.
- That all people are created in God's image and are loved by Him, and that we are
called to love as He loves.
